How It All Began... "I can do that"
“I can do that”

Here is the history of the company. In the beginning, it all began with the words, “I can do that”. One day, CEO, Benny Eder needed his car windows tinted. As he watched, he thought that he could do the same. At the age of 20, Eder began practicing in his mother’s garage. Of course, as time goes by, the craft only improves expanding from cars, to houses, to famous buildings in the city.

What We Do:

Today, Bay Area Solar Control is a booming window film and graphics business in the San Francisco, Bay Area. In fact, Benny Eder and his team specialize in numerous commercial, residential, and automotive projects. Additionally, many completed projects are visible to those who walk the streets of Downtown San Francisco. Some of the most recognizable places are Google, Dropbox, and Salesforce. Although most work is done in San Francisco, there are lots of projects that happen throughout the Bay Area. This business has completed projects in Cupertino for Apple Headquarters and  2k in Novato. In fact, he even filmed for movie sets that were shot in the Bay Area.

Bay Area Solar Control Goes International:

With the uprising success of Bay Area Solar Control, Benny Eder has had the opportunity to go international! Eder was able to travel to Shanghai, China to film the windows of the Le Meridian Hotel. From there, he was able to travel to Miami, Florida to install a custom print of an art piece placed on the facade of the Le Meridian Hotel. Finally, Eder traveled to New York City to film the runway for Diesel’s fashion show during New York Fashion Week.

Benny Eder has come along way from learning how to tint in his mother’s garage. As a result of hard work and practice, he was able to create this business from the ground up. Overall, Eder is grateful for the opportunities he has received and the experiences he has made. On behalf of Benny Eder and Bay Area Solar Control, he thanks his team for being by his side every step of the way and cannot wait for what the future holds.

A Touch of Nature at the Embassy Suites

Graphic Designs

The team at Bay Area Solar Control used graphic designs to add a touch of nature to the Embassy Suites in South San Francisco. The chief engineer wanted guests to feel immersed in the ambiance of a home away from home. As guests ride down the elevator, they are able to walk into palm trees and palm leaves into the lobby. In addition to the windows at the end of the elevator, conference rooms were also filmed to enhance the look.

The Creative process:

The Embassy Suites in South San Francisco wanted to brighten up the look of the hotel and what better way than to add a graphic touch. In the beginning, the chief engineer asked how to enhance the look of their current decor. First, multiple film options were provided to give the best look for the newly renovated space. Then, the grass printed film was chosen. To add a touch of nature to the Embassy Suites, the team used the Solyx Beach Grass Gradient Film. This is one of many graphic designs that can showcase art work in the workplace. You can click here to see more window film and graphics designs in our photo gallery!
